The Sonim XP3400 Armor Ultra-Rugged Mobile Phone is the new model of Sonim’s line of rugged mobile phones. How tough is it? It is dust-proof, water-proof at a depth of 6.5 feet and can be dropped at a height of 6.5 feet without damage. Its display is made out of 1.5mm thick Corning Gorilla glass with a body made out of a combination of hardened rubber and reinforced fiberglass casing. It can also withstand temperatures from -5 degrees Fahrenheit to 130 degrees Fahrenheit. It also comes with a 2 MP camera with LED flash, video recording features, FM radio and a media player. The Sonim XP3400 Armor Ultra-Rugged Mobile Phone is now available at licensed retailers and resellers. It might cost at around US$50 if it comes with a 2-year contract from a telecom network.
